My Google Plus URL

Though my tight schedule is not allowing me to blog about products I have been using and loving so far, that does not mean I'm completely away from my baby a.k.a my blog. Just cannot stay away from it!

And that's why whenever I can, I sneak into my blog, even if work pressure is extreme. Anyways coming to the point, I wanted to share something with all you dear readers. Few weeks back ( I suppose) Google mailed many of us, who use Google+ frequently, to inform that we can change our URL and customize it according to the profile name given in our Google+ profiles.

I read the email then, but stopped at that itself. But today as soon as I had some free time, I followed the instructions and received my custom URL. yaaay to that! :)

So here it is beautiful ladies: google.com/+NiveditaRCIndianBelle

Tadaaa.... gone are the days of boring and long Google+ URLs that seemed Latin and Greek to me mostly. I'm loving the short and sweet URL of mine very much. So what's stopping you girls? And do not forget to click the link to visit the page. :)

Go ahead (only if you've received a similar mail from Google+ team) and get your custom URL and enjoy the benefits. :) And if you're still wondering, it is absolutely free :P lol

Until next time... cheers everyone!

Which Mobile Phone do you use?

Long long time indeed… well yes, I am guilty of being MIA for a long time now! And the reasons are plenty — in laws are visiting us, I joined a new organization so right now am up to impressing my new lead by staying a little late at work, and after returning dog-tired I do not feel like opening the pitara (read: laptop) connect to the internet and blog, seriously!
Whether it is my lack of interest or just the tiredness or shorter winter days I don't know…. However that does not mean I've quit blogging or intend to. It's just that I'll be infrequent here.
To address this tiredness/lack of interest/infrequency due to lack of time, I'm planning to work smartly, a.k.a blog on the go. And this is the crux of today's post — I'd like to know…

How many of you blog on the go using mobile phones? When I say using mobile phones, I'm not just referring to typing the post; I also mean taking pictures and editing them to your liking for the posts to look attractive and meaningful.

Please help me here ladies, coz I know I have to buy a new mobile phone for this.

So please suggest me phones priced within 9k that can be used to good quality pics and to blog while I travel or taking a mini-break at work.

Your suggestions are extremely required and hence are most welcome! J
And before I leave, let me quickly tell you the products I plan to review in the coming weeks and here's what I bought:

·        Colorbar Oh My Magenta lipstick

·        Maybelline Hypercurl (Washable)  Mascara

·        Maybelline Cheeky Glow BlushPeachy Sweetie (I'm in love with this name and I repeat it countless times in my head…)

·       Maybelline Bad to the Bronze eye tattoo (don't raise your eyebrows pls.. I know I'm late in joining you guys here)

·        Lakme Eyeconic Kajal

·        Miss Claire eye pencils – Denim and Royal Blue

·        Biotique Almond Oil Cleanser

·        Fab India Silk Protein Nourishing cream

Cheers Ladies! J

Currently Craving: White Chaandbalis

Women are notorious for their cravings... be it pickles, chocolate, icecream or any other type of dessert or any finger licking good food for that mater. You name it and women will pull out all the stops until they fulfill their cravings. But no this post isn't about food as it may seem so!

Well, it is about my current craving for..... this lovely chaandbaali that Deepika Padukone sported during a promotional event of her latest movie Chennai Express

Lovely aint it?
Oh these drop dead gorgeous earrings just refuse to fade into the dark abyss of my mind, where the other important information usually (that must be remembered) goes straight in! (lol)

To extinguish this undying desire of mine, I've done all I could from hunting every site and shop, in the hope of spotting this lovely earring. Did she custom-order this or what, I wonder at times? And when I realized I may not be able to own an exact replica of these, I cajoled myself to own a chandbaali with white pearl at least. Remember the Ayush shampoo ad: 'adjust kar lo!'

But in vain!

So now this is a call to all the lovely ladies - do you know any site that sells nice and large chaandbalis with white pearl which looks similar?

And in case you know, will you please  mention the name in the comments section below with the approx. price? I just hope I dont have to burn a big hole in my pocket for these super lovely earrings. :)

I want this at any cost :P

FOTD with Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick No. 20

It is often said: if you want or desire something with all your heart, the universe works for you and gives it you eventually. Well, right now I can completely feel that euphoric feeling , when the Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick no. 20 landed in my hands, thanks to the universe. :P I know you must be thinking what the….! But seriously girls, the lipstick got added to my stash that accidentally and this is how.

The never-ending desire to get this lipstick was born when I read Poorna's review (a wonderful food and beauty blogger from Kolkata) in a well–known beauty blog and I instantly fell in love with the color. As I was already looking to add a bright fuchsia lipstick to my collection, the Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick no. 20 seemed like manna from the heaven at that wow price! Immediately I checked slassy.com but the OOS notice put me off initially and fuelled my desire to have it tenfold.

Months went by and then one day, I read Agnirupa's (a blog contributor from Kolkata and a very sweet girl) FB update about some products she wanted to sell. Of course most of them were taken, except the Kate Moss lipstick no. 20. I messaged her to block it for myself readily and the confirmation message from Agnirupa helped me realize my dream finally. Am I getting a tad too dramatic here? Cannot help you know ... :) I could not resist the wait and was eager to receive the parcel at the earliest.

I loved everything about the lippy. Its packaging, the Kate Moss signature.. every bit about the lippy caught me hook, line and sinker!

I swatched the lipstick in no time and admired its intense color with great joy. I wore it to every event I could, including the Ganeshotsav dinner party held at my residential complex. The pic you see below is taken after I returned home that night from the dinner party. I simply love the color and I know this love will grow by the day.

What about you? Do you love any make-up product this crazily, deeply or madly?

Review: Maybelline 24 hour Colour Tattoo Bold Gold shade and a EOTD

The 24 hour color tattoos have stolen everyone's heart. And I wonder why it took me this long to own one of these tiny beauties. Anyways, now that I own a shade from this range, let me straight away come to the point.

The Maybelline Color Tattoo 24 hour eye shadow in the shade Bold Gold is out and out meant for glittery events in the night. However, the bolder lot can tweak it to apply during the day, in which case you'll need to apply this shade very sparingly over the eyelids, to show only a hint of this.

Let me tell you why. The Bold Gold color tattoo looks like a pot of gold and when I applied this in generous amount on my eyelids, I looked a la Parveen Babi or Zeenat Aman all ready to perform a disco number from the 80s Hindi movies. Yeah this shade is very gawdy and glittery when applied in generous amount. So the trick to apply this shade (if you do not want to wear it for glittery events in the night) would be to - take little of this product and then play around.

The texture is quite soft and smooth and can be applied on the lids quite easily without tugging  or pulling. And as I just said, the pigmentation is very good, which means so you need to know how much to apply as a little more of it could make you look very very blingy. The pic below will make the point clearer.

Pls ignore the undone eyebrows. :P
However I have one complaint though about this eye shadow. After drying it creates a very rough look on the eyelids, making the eyes look like a crumpled paper. This can be a bane for women with dry and wrinkled eye area. It could make you look quite aged and dull. The shade is loaded with shimmer.

I did not like it though for two reasons: firstly, I didn't like the look it imparted after the shadow dried and secondly, I was looking for something like Bad to the Bronze which was out of stock sadly. So I'm thinking of giving it away pretty soon.

Lastly, it is really long-lasting, in fact it refuses to go off the eyelids unless you use a make up remover or make-up removing oil to remove this product completely.

On a different note:

Would you like to buy this eye shadow that has been swatched once only for this EOTD? Or better would you like to swap your Maybelline Bad to the Bronze color tattoo with this one? (I'm not kidding at all.)

 Price: INR 350/-

Your feedback is most awaited.

Review: Faces Longwear Eyepencil in Navy Blue

Pleasing me is extremely simple! If anyone wants to please or impress me, the sure shot way is to buy me a decent colored eye pencil and I'm a slave! Ha ha lol seriously and I really hope my husband is reading this so that he knows the trick to please me right after a tiff! :P

Jokes apart, today I would be talking about a ravishing  eye pencil I cannot stop gushing about. Simply because it makes my eyes look fabulous each and every time I apply it. [yeah yeah am blowing my own trumpet! :)] Tell me girls, aren't the Faces Longwear eye pencils every girl's sweetheart?
Now, with scores of reviews on the net, I will not write the product details as it is old news already. Rather let me just KISS (keep it short and sweet) that is.

I bought the Faces Longwear eye pencil in the shade navy blue in June (you can read more about that Haul  here) and as soon as I tried it on my eyelids, I fell head over heels in love with it. Here's why:

1. It is extremely smooth and glides on the eyelids like butter.
2. True to its name, Longwear it surely is. It refuses to budge when you use a face wash only. You need a cleansing milk or make-up remover to remove any trace of this eye pencil.
3. The color pay off is very good. One swipe and your eyes are lined perfectly well. And I just love the shade I bought.
4. You can sharpen it easily.
5. Wonderful colors in this range makes you get all of them.
6. The one I bought in navy blue is not shimmery, making it a perfect wear for office and day as well.
7. Affordable and easily available online and in most beauty shops.

Lastly, this is a must for all of you. If you still do not have this in your kitty you're missing out on an awesome pocket-friendly product.

I'm getting a few other shades in this range for sure such as black, dark green and purple.

Price: INR 349/-

As always feedback is welcome. :)

August Haul

You must have known by now that we Beauty Bloggers are prey to cosmetics and with the rage of bold colors all around, I am no exception. So I fell head over heels for a gorgeous Magenta lipstick and that is what I bought me in the beginning of this month. Well it is not a newly launched lippy and many of you are quite familiar with it. Yes ladies, let me introduce you to the newest guest in my vanity - the O My Magenta lipstick from Colorbar.

Woo it is some bold color I must tell you! One swipe and your lips are ready to rock.. yeah I mean it literally. It is that color which can set any red carpet event on fire and make heads turn instantly, as soon as you make an entry. And here is how I tweak it. I am not a complete brave heart, so cannot think of wearing it during the day when the sun is blazing. So I wear it mostly on cloudy gloomy days when we dont mind adding a dash of color to our outfits. Also you could pair it with outfits that dont flatter your complexion, to add a little brightness to your overall look.

And I dont need to tell you that it is such a welcome break from the boring maroon and burgundy colors we have seen on women during weddings etc. You got the hint I hope; this wedding season try this Magenta lipstick instead of the old maroon lippy you have been using since ages. :)

Try it and you wont regret it girls :)
Love,
N

Press Release: Give Your Skin a Perfect Score! The all new Vaseline Complete 10 With 10 benefits for younger fairer looking skin!

Mumbai, 2013: Perfect looking skin is every woman's desire, but are you ready to face the truth about your skin? Has your skin lost its suppleness and feels dull, dry & dehydrated? Does your skin show fine lines, uneven skin tone and dark spots along with skin darkening? Well, if these problems sound familiar, then you are one amongst many of the Indian women who are looking for a respite. This tale of weakening in the skin's texture and quality can be reversed, with the new Vaseline Complete 10 body lotion!

Until the age of 25, nature protects you from various skin problems, due to the skin's amazing ability to rejuvenate itself. The skin is equipped with a natural repair mechanism, through which older skin is replaced every few weeks. But after the age of 25, there is a slowdown in this process and the body skin starts showing inconsistency in the colour and texture in comparison to the facial skin.

Benefits of Vaseline Complete 10

1) Visible skin lightening over time
2) Makes the skin feel firm & tight
3) Restores the even tone of the skin
4) Visibly helps reduce fine lines
5) Protects from the UVA & UVB radiation
6) Helps renew the skin
7) Helps in the reduction of the dark marks
8) Provides intense moisturisation
9) Boosts the radiance
10) Deeply nourishes the skin

While we take utmost care of our face and put in a lot of time and effort in following beauty protocols; the fact that body skin needs equal amount of care and pampering is often ignored. This nurturing is pivotal to achieve a natural glow and an even skin tone that matches the facial skin. Ignoring our body skin care can lead to evident signs of skin ageing with every passing year. Plus there are some intrinsic factors related to modern lifestyle such as a poor diet, lack of exercise, reduction in immune function and external factors like environmental pollution, which lead to skin damage, accelerating the aging process.

Vaseline Complete 10 body lotion helps the skin to look young and radiant as it contains essential ingredients that facilitate the skin rejuvenation process! It is infused with vitamin B3 which aids the lightening process of the tanned skin and helps in restoring an even skin tone. It also includes AHA which helps in boosting the moisture content and the elasticity of the skin. Besides that AHA also helps to exfoliate the dry skin cells and assists in restoring even skin tone. Plus it is topped with glycerin and lipids that make your skin look nourished and radiant.

Changes in skin start appearing due to modification in its texture which reflect in the form of thinner skin, weaker skin barrier and increased dryness. This is often caused by slower cell renewal process, slower shedding of skin cells and changes in the skin's structural composition, which results in reduced blood and nutrient flow to the outer most layer of the skin, leading to signs of aging in the form of dullness and uneven skin tone, which become more evident!

Vaseline Complete 10 body lotion has triple sunscreens which help to protect the skin from the harmful UVA and UVB rays of the sun. The protective layer of the lotion thereby prevents further tanning and damage to skin.

In addition it also includes the goodness of anti-oxidants which protect from UV damage and thus help in reducing the fine lines appearing on the skin. This body lotion contains CLA, an important ingredient that helps in reducing the dark spots and assists in skin renewing process.

The benefits sound almost never ending! So what are you waiting for, grab a bottle of Vaseline Complete 10 body lotion and welcome every approaching year with confidence that reflects not only on your face but also in your body skin.

Brownish Black EOTD

After a nude EOTD it's now time for a glamorous smoky  brown eye. I used very normal products to create this look. Wanna know more? Then read on.

Sorry for the undone eyebrows! (Hope this doesnt raise a storm.) :P
The products used to get this look are:

1. Miss Claire's shimmery black eye shadow
2. Lakme Waterproof Instaliner
3. Himalaya Kajal
4. Lakme Eyekonic kajal
5. Clinique mascara

And that's all that I've used. Sounds great isnt it?

Let's see how I got this look. With a eyeshadow brush I applied a generous amount of the shimmery eye shadow. After blending for quite some time, I lined my eyes with the eyeliner.

Then I applied the Himalaya kajal, and followed it up with the Lakme kajal to get a full on smoky effect. I applied two coats of the mascara to  the lashes and voila the look turned out just right ( I suppose)! :)

What are your thoughts about this look?

Review: Fab India Vitamin E Enriched Night Cream for Dry Skin

For the past couple of months I have been looking high and low for a good moisturising night cream that also checks premature ageing of the skin. And this hunt ended when I zeroed in on Fab Indias Vitamin E enriched Night Cream for Dry Skin.

Well I do not have dry skin per se yet I fell for this seeing the vitamin E on the label! Being easy on the pocket and sold by a herbal brand like Fab India, I took no time to order it online from Medplus and when I checked this product, I kinda liked it. Read on to know why.

As I have already said, it is herbal, yet I saw the presence of a lot of chemicals. The cream is a thickish-white formula that seems quite heavy at a glance. However, I feel the consistency is of a very mousse-like smooth cream.

For someone blessed with a combination skin like me, it might not be a good product. However considering the usually dry conditions in Pune all round the year, this worked really well for me. The first time I applied this cream, my face felt very smooth and instantly moisturised. But I got to feel the goodness of the cream when I woke up in the morning. My face not only felt smooth, but seemed silky and plump like a babys cheeks. Seriously girls Im not exaggerating a wee bit.
Over a period of time, after regular usage, I did notice the pimple marks on my face fade away and skin becoming satin-smooth. As a result, my face looks a lot more bright and clearer than before. This tub really delights me when I see the difference it has made to my skin.
So my advice to all of you, would be to buy, apply and enjoy the benefits of this cream yourself! Do not delay. Lastly, this is a wonderful night cream and does its job extremely well. Oily skinned girls could try this in the night as the cream is not overtly oily, but creates a matte effect. I'm thinking this could be a great product for women looking for anti-ageing benefits as you can apply this last thing in the night.

Lipstick Haul: A little story

Ha! TGIF seriously...  every Friday, working women (like me ) feel so relieved isn't it?
Before I start my weekend with a bang by watching D-Day (a Hindi movie), I thought I should share yet another haul, I had indulged in a few months ago. And what a super haul that was!

As I said, few months ago I read that a blogger friend Anindita wanted to sell 5 lipsticks. The offer seemed interesting no doubt. So I checked the shades and I liked them instantly. Straightaway I told Anindita about my noble intention of acquiring them and she promptly agreed to book them, after telling me all about the shades etc.

After a few days I received the little box nicely packed with these lovelies. The sight made me so happy that I took no time to tear it open, (yes I'm very impatient when it comes to opening beauty packages) to admire the beautiful lippies. Along with the lippies, the box also contained a cute hand written note by Anindita and the current Avon catalogue.

Here are the lipsticks I bought from Anindita:

·         Revlon Matte Lipstick - Fabulous Fig
·         Revlon Velvet Rich - Choco
·         Avon ultra color rich lipstick - Rose Wine
·         Avon ultra color rich mega impact lipstick - Divine Wine
·         Lakme Enrich Metallics 419

From left to right: Fabulous Fig, Lakme 419, Divine Wine, Choco, Rose Wine

The excitement only subsided when I woke up in the middle of the night to check the swatches once again. The lipsticks Fabulous Fig, Rose Wine and the Choco stole my heart completely.
  • I found Fabulous Fig perfect as a day and night wear. It is matte which means you can easily wear this to work and to any other glittery event and you can build the pigmentation accordingly. That's the beauty of this shade!
  • The Divine Wine and the 419 Lakme lipsticks are extremely bright and they impart a natural radiance to your face instantly. Both these lipsticks are shimmery which makes them perfect for evenings and parties.
  • Rose Wine reminds me of a bubble gum and what a pretty shade this would be for medium and fair toned women! This is an awesome shade to sport with heavy eye make up as well as a simple kohl look. During the day this looks absolutely gorgeous on the lips, and for the night, this would be perfect with a smokey eye.
  • Choco is just what it refers to ... chocolatey in color and you can definitely wear this anytime.

I do know swatches are must and I'll post them pretty soon in this post itself. So happy weekend to all of you and have a good one! :)

Of My Experiments Vol. I: My HG Sunscreen

As a Beauty blogger we experiment with plenty of products, to be able to recommend the best products to our dear readers. In the process, we end up damaging and nourishing our skin and hair vice-versa.  (or do we experiment with other parts of our bodies? I'm not sure though :P ). There is a flip side to this too: this continuous process enlightens us about various beauty products and gives birth to our HG products

Then come what may, we refuse to part with these HG products... for the simple reason of our unwillingness to be in the continuous exploration mode. Oh my I used so many bombastic words here! :P

Anyways without digressing much let me share the crux of this series with you. Ever since I could try the different products available in the market, I experimented a lot. And these experiments have led me to some of the best products and worst products too. So I thought why not share my success and horror stories with you! Let's start. :)

June Haul

At a glance, the post title might seem bizarre to you, but the fact is today I will talk about the products I had hauled in the month of June. And you have already seen a teaser of these babies here, wherein I had promised to end the suspense with a complete haul post.

I had ordered most of these products from the popular online store Goodlife, as I wanted to experience the services they offer. Another reason I wanted to try this site was its vicinity - yeah it is a Pune based company, so the service would be much faster than other online stores outside Pune (this last part sounds a little weird no? :P).

Most of these products you see here, are my first purchases and my decision to try them was solely based on the wonderful reviews, I had read all over the worldwide web. So let's check the products I hauled, along with a brief  review. (the products have been listed in clockwise direction)

1. Fab India Vitamin E enriched night cream: INR 275/-
This was an accidental buy as I actually wanted Fab India's depigmentation cream. So when I could not see the results as per the reviews, I realized my error of judgement. However, it is a good night cream and would be great for dry skinned beauties, as well as for nourishing an ageing skin. It add glow to the face, making the skin supple.

2. Lakme Fantasy Glimmer Blue Shimmer Eye Liner: INR 295/-
The eyeliner is a beauty at such an affordable price. It gives a wonderful pop of color to the eyes and the shimmer helps you to gain attention instantly. Plus it stays on your lids intact for a good 6-7 hours. Do you want anything more? :) The brush is perfect for drawing thin as well as thicker lines. You can wear it anytime of the day and yet look attractive.

3. Maybelline Hyperglossy Eyeliner: INR 225/-
Seems like I have been on an eyeliner buying spree and I just noticed it! :) Another black beauty, this eyeliner would conquer your heart if you want a shiny dark black line on your lids. The brush is apt to draw thin lines and winged lines. It stays for a good 5-6 hours, but it is not waterproof.

4. Elle 18 Eye Sparklers: shade Gun Powder: INR 85/-
Why I bought this I do not know coz this smudges real bad. Though it is soft, it gets rubbed, in case you rub your lids accidentally. And it smudges after 2 hours all over the eyes. I plan to finish using this asap and never look back, as I have laid my hands of the faces eye pencils and found them to be too good.

5. Maybelline Color Tattoo in shade Bold Gold: INR 350/-
Does this product even require an introduction? I added this eyeshadow in the Bold Gold shade coz I did not have a golden shadow, that's a must for the glitzy occasions like marriages etc. Amazing shadow that lasts quite long and looks charming on the eyes. I have combined this with other shades and each time, the eyes seemed gorgeous due to this fab shade.

6. Lakme Eyekonic Kajal: INR 199/- (I paid INR 180/- phew!)
I was bored of the Himalaya kajal as it smudged like hell and so I picked up this product from the local cosmetics store at a discount. The intention was to get a kajal, I could wear to work everyday and that would not smudge and stay for 5 hours at least. And this one scored on all points, except one - it is not jet black in color. It is greyish but the thick tip is great to create smudged kajal look. Right now this is my go-to kajal. So me super happy! :)

7. Faces Longwear Eyepencil in shade Navy Blue: INR 349/-
Enough has been written about this range of eye pencils from Faces. So all that I would say is it is a must have in your kitty, if you love to do up your peepers. It is super soft and glides on the eyes effortlessly and looks splendid on your eyes. And yes it refuses to erase even with a face wash and fades only with cleansing  milk or face oil. At this price it is a steal and I will buy this again and again!

8. Colorbar Nude Pink lipliner (oo7): INR 325/-
Make-upista and accomplished dancer Sreenanda Shankar inspired me to buy this one. Not literally :) though. Actually I follow Sreenanda's Facebook Group Makeover Madness, where she shares amazing tutorials, showcasing various looks for all women to try. She always tells you to line the lips, and then fill the lips with this liner only. So without batting my eyelids, I bought this and it paid off brilliantly, particularly when I wore bold colors like fuchsia and red. By the way, I already consider her my make up Guru(ma)

Whoaaa that ends this haul post and I'd love to know how these products fared with you. Or any other thoughts about these are also welcome. And did I tell you that Goodlife is superfast. I received my products after a day. :)

Love,
N.

Woooooh One Year

Cannot believe it is one year already! Yeah you read it correct - my baby, in other words my blog just completed a year. And I cannot describe what a wonderful experience it's been so far. I have made so many friends, met plenty of talented women who can give expert MUAs a run for their money and not to mention, I have learnt sooo much during the course of this one year.

I have come to know of so many brands and so many techniques of make up. Nevertheless there's lots to learn and lots of work to do. So here's wishing Indian Belle a very happy birthday and may you live many many more years. :)

Super happy I am today. :)

Teaser: Haul Post

Well yes I have been hauling quite a lot since a few months now, and sadly have never managed to share the pics of these hauls with you,  my dear readers. But then I would not want to give away all right at the first go. So a teaser for you! :)

You must be wondering why am I not telling you all about the products I hauled. The answer is quite simple - I love surprises and suspense. However I do promise  will reveal all about this haul and some more pretty soon. Till then take care and keep watching this space.

By the way can you spot the products seen in this pic? Let's do some fun: Identify the products you see in this pic and mention the same in the comment box below. I'll let you know whether you have identified correctly. I'm sure it will be fun. :)

Love always,
N

Brown EOTD with Avon Mocha Quad Palette

Its raining cats and dogs here everyday and like most of you, I have taken to coffee big time! So whether it is morning or night, all I am sipping these days is a cuppa of steaming hot coffee. And this reminded me of the lovely Avon Mocha Quad eyeshadow pallette I had bought from a blogger friend Anindita, who blogs at ani-makeuup.blogspot.in about 2 months back. Anindita resides in my hometown Kolkata and is an Avon consultant. Kolkata girls if you are reading this, you can contact Anindita to place orders for Avon products, which can be easily shipped all over the country. (Her email id: makeuupani@gmail.com)

EOTD and FOTD with Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil

I have been on a make-up buying spree this month. And when I checked the beauties after getting them home, I realized my haul mostly consists of stuff, meant for the eyes viz – a couple of eye shadows, under eye cream and eye pencil, the only exception being a Fab India night cream and a chocolate vanilla shower gel. Did I hear you say yummy with the mention of the last item? J Of course, it goes without saying that I’ll do a haul post starring these beauties together asap.

Today’s post is about another EOTD, that I tried with the new eye pencil I bought early this month. Ladies, here I present to you a look using the eye pencil many girls love — Faces Long Wear Eye Pencil in the shade navy blue

There’s no rocket science in this look here. All that I did was to prep my eye area with the Oriflame concealer and let it set for 2 minutes. Then I took this beautiful and soft Navy Blue eye pencil and lined my upper lash line, drawing a thicker line to outline the eyes.

Why? Again it’s my personal funda working here — with eye pencils I feel a thicker line works like a dream and looks very fascinating!

And as the above pic suggests I finished this look by faintly lining my waterline with the Lakme eyekonic kajal, coz I have still not gotten out of my habit (whether it's bad or good I dont know though :P)of blindly following Kajol’s eye make-up in Kabhi Khushi Khabhi Gham! Yeah when it comes to eye-make up I like to follow this trend quite regularly.

That's it for today and as I sign off, here's a FOTD, where I have worn the same eye make up. Hope you like it. :)

So did you like this EOTD and FOTD? As always, your feedback is most welcome. :)
